HOW TO LIVE A HAPPY LIFE



Do you always complain on your life? In other words, are you unhappy with your life? If yes, you can proceed to read this blog post.






Most of us always say “Why I’m having such a sucks life?”, “Why me?”, “Why can’t I be successful like those people?” Yes, it is the nature of people to keep complaining on their own life. We always comparing ourselves with other people. This environment always happening around me. My friends always say, “Why I’m not pretty like her?”, “Why she is too intelligent?”. Actually, I don’t know why those people really need to compare themselves with the others. One of my best friends describes me as a happy girl. Never looks me cry. Always laugh no matter how bad that joke is. For me, it is not about you cannot be sad at all. We are a normal human being who got feelings. Not feeling, but feelings. Different. I am not the type of person that want the people out there know that I’m sad. No. Only certain people will know when I’m sad. You are allowed to be sad, but you’re not allowed to let the sad feelings take over your life. So, let me share with you how I manage to live in such a happy life.





USE AFFIRMATIONS
I love to scroll my Pinterest, searching for affirmations. Yes, I really love it. There is a plenty of affirmations you can find on Pinterest or even Google Search. I love to do this when I’m sad. Then, I’ll jot it down on my notebook or journal. But, since my notebook is full of words and there is no page left for me to write, I have to use Google Keep to save all the affirmations. By using that affirmations, I can visualize how great my life is. It also can encourage you to have a positive thought at the same time. Here are some examples of affirmations that you can use.

“I am removing people from my life who do not deserve my best interest”
“Happiness is my natural state”
“I am grateful for my life”



BE GRATEFUL FOR WHAT YOU HAVE
You need to stop complaining. You need to stop comparing yourself with other people. Come on, guys. You are not competing with anyone on this earth. That is not your life purpose to compete with others and downgrade your own self. Instead of applying unhealthy competition, why not you apply a healthy competition. You see other people’s success, then you ask yourself “How I can be like them?”, “What is my next plan to be like them”. Please and please don’t downgrading yourself. Remember, when you’re fail, you need to try try try try try and try again. For me, I like to compete with my old self. I’m grateful as I’m not as stupid as before. The old me didn’t know how to run a business and the new me know how to run a business. See. It totally different when you’re comparing your life with other people and comparing your life with the old version of you. This gonna help you to live a happier life than before. You need to see your life as a half full instead of half empty. Only then you will know how to appreciate your life that you’re living in.



REMOVE TOXIC PEOPLE
Okay, I love this part. I also learn this from one of my best friends. He said that I only can stop crying if I remove all the toxic people in my life. I bet everyone knows who toxic people are. How you want to live in a happy and positive life if you are being surrounded with negative people. This is the time when you need to apply the theory of ‘find the good friends’. You need to be wise enough to choose your friends. Don’t ever let your friends put you down. You need to have friends who can you build your life with, who can make you happy, who can help you when you’re in your hard times. I recommend for you to have at least one best friend who can push you forward instead of pulling you backward. If they make you sad, they’re not your friends. Just leave and ignore them. They don’t deserve you. You can’t have a happy life if you close your happy door.

So, these are the three things that I did in my life to have a happy life. I do feel sad, but I never let the sad feeling controls my life as I said before. I don’t want to see you suffer and sad. It’s enough. Now is the time for you to get up and getting stronger. Try these 3 things one by one. Focus on one thing at one time. I guaranteed you will be happier after this. Good luck!
